Great Trade for Warriors
The Warriors definitely got the better of yesterday's 8-player trade in which they acquired Al Harrington, Stephen Jackson and change from Indiana in exchange for Troy Murphy, Mike Dunleavy and change. Harrington and Jackson are far better fits on the wing for Nelly and Baron Davis' run and gun offense than Murphy and Dunleavy, both of whom were playing sporadic minutes off the bench at the time of the deal. But the sleeper component of the trade is part of the aforementioned "change": Golden State's acquisition of Sarunas Jasikevicius, a very talented Euro point guard who always seemed stymied in Indiana. Should B-Diddy go down for a string of games, as he often does, Sarunas will give the Warriors the best fill-in they've had at the position since Speedy Claxton, minus the size liability on D.
