Swingin' In The Rain
The Sonics just released a list of prospective draftees who've worked out at the Furtado Center over the past four days. The most recognizable names on this ledger are former Garfield High and Nevada guard Marcelus Kemp, Eastern Washington guard Rodney Stuckey, Arizona guard Mustafa Shakur, USC guard Gabe Pruitt, and Ohio State guard Daequan Cook (obviously, these players are candidates for the Seattle's high second-round selection -- not the #2 pick in the entire draft). The lone bigs the Supes have eyeballed thus far are Coleman Collins (Va. Tech), Ryvon Colvile (Detroit), and Canadian extreme sport enthusiast Levon Kendall (Pittsburgh). There's also a 6'4" foreigner, Finland's Petteri Kopon. Rounding out the workout list are Sean Singletary (Virginia), Cartier Martin (Kansas St.), Dominic McGuire (Fresno St.), and Rashad Jones-Jennings (Arkansas-Little Rock).
