Liberty Mutual Field?

One of the crappy things about naming rights is if the company that bought the original rights gets bought out by another company, the name of the field/stadium usually changes. The San Francisco Giants' stadium, for instance, has had like three different name changes since its inception as Pac Bell Park. Now comes word that insurance giant Liberty Mutual is about to acquire local Safeco. Does that mean Safeco Field is soon to become Liberty Mutual Field? Says Mariner spokesperson Rebecca Hale: "We've been assured that there are no immediate plans to change the name of Safeco Field in the near future, so there won't be any immediate impact on us or the ballpark. That's a question that needs to be sorted out at some point, but we've been told that, for now, it's going to remain Safeco Field for the immediate future."
