An exchange from last night's Oklahoma City/LA Clippers game:
Grant Long: Who is that, Rick Ross?
Brian Davis: Huh?
Grant Long: Nevermind.
Brian Davis: (Inaudible.)
Grant Long: The guys at the barbershop know.
Brian Davis: Oh....I'll be watching!
This is followed up by a Collison/Wilcox "Block Party." Poor Okies, not only did they get an inferior version of last year's Sonics, but they downgraded from Calabro and Snapper to these guys.

Yes, this is an awkward exchange. And yes, Davis and Long are a major downgrade from KC and whoever. But I'll be damned if I don't find a way to lift the "guys at the barbershop know" line as a clever way of communicating what Long is trying to communicate here: Honkies just don't get it sometimes.
