Crack's Near the Market

My walk into work this morning was notable for two reasons: (1) It rained, reminding me that I live in Seattle and not Southern California, which is how this place has felt ever since I fled the Midwest (aka, the Midbest) five months ago; and (2) Today marked the first time I didn't witness an open-air crack transaction at the corner of Western and Blanchard, near the northbound onramp to the Battery Street tunnel, the Pike Place Market and several nightclubs, including Venom, Belltown Billiards and Twilight Martini Lounge. The open-air drug market on 2nd & Yesler gets all the hype; it's time Western & Blanchard's merchants got their due. In this vein, where are some of the city's other lesser-known places to score rock al fresco? Do tell.
