Brown v. Ford Death Poll

• Honestly, Im a little disturbed by the accolades James Brown is receiving over Gerald Ford. Seems to me James Brown, while a great musician, was a first class piece of work. Ex-con, guilty of Domestic Violence and as we speak, his common law wife as well as Child have been kicked to the curb and locked out of their primary home. I\'m not sure what kind of Social icon that would make him.

• Of course James Brown. I was listening to him the whole way to my mom\'s house for Christmas Eve. The man is a legend and his rights are definetly going to outlive his wrongs. Something that Ford may not have the luxury of.

• Well, not to belittle Gerald Ford, but James Brown is a huge cultural and social icon, especially so for the whole African-American community. If Nixon hadn\'t been forced to resign, we would have forgotten who Gerald Ford was by now.
