Smokers Win at Tulalip Casino

It started out as a great idea by the Tulalip Casino:  a non-smoking gaming area.  Right off of its main gaming floor, the casino built an entire section—about eight tables worth—just so non-smokers could enjoy all the fun fun fun without having to age their lungs prematurely or Febreeze their clothes when they got home.  (The area was also slightly raised, so it was easier to feel superior, too).

Problem was, nobody ever played in the non-smoking gaming area, and the numbers the casino kept confirmed it.  A few weeks ago, Tulalip decided to stop wasting the space and moved the tables out and shoved a bunch of slots in there.  The only non-smoking haven at the casino is now the poker room.
