Smells Like a New Blogger: Krist Novoselic

I'm excited to announce that our friend Krist Novoselic, political activist, former bassist for Nirvana, and current member of Flipper, has joined our stable of bloggers. He'll post a regular column, which has yet to be named, every Tuesday on The Daily Weekly. He plans to write about politics, news, music, and culture. In his first post, "Smells Like (Put Word Here) Spirit," Krist addresses the origins of the title, "Smells Like Teen Spirit," anarchy, and the WTO riots of 1999.

In addition to his blogging duties, Krist has agreed to join Managing Editor Mike Seely and Editor Mark Fefer in their a capella group, Scatamaran. Watch Reverb for tour dates.

Welcome aboard, Krist.
