Not Another Overlake scandal

Oh no. Not another scandal at Overlake Christian Church. The Seattle Times reported today that a Redmond police incident report contains allegations that an usher stole $100,000 from church collections over the past decade. This after the once powerhouse, evangelical church asked its pastor, Rick Kingham, to leave last year amid suspicion that church leaders had misappropriated money donated for humanitarian relief. And all that on the heels of a general downward spiral at the church following the mid-90s uber-scandal involving then pastor Bob Moorehead and his relations with men. Is something in the water over there?
