With Rudy Giuliani’s campaign-imploding loss in Florida’s primary yesterday, and imminent drop out of the nomination race, it seems that investigative journalists and liberal commentators are about to lose another pariah.

Ask Wayne Barrett, a senior editor at the Village Voice, who has two books out on Giuliani. Barrett appeared on Democracy Now this morning to chat with Amy Goodman about the swansong of ‘America’s Mayor.’

Barrett’s verdict on the fate of Giuliani’s political career: “I couldn’t tell you how happy I am that these fingers may never type that name again.”
