The 90-minute, $6.70 ride to Port Townsend from downtown wraps up its brief run at the end of business on Sunday. And according to numbers we got from WSF today, hundreds of you are going to miss it.

Through Dec. 27, the M/V Snohomish's four daily round trips served as many as 818 passengers a day. (More numbers below.) Don't expect WSF to continue the run. They didn't even do a full security assesment for the boat and run, which is why the 350-capacity vessel was only approved by the Coast Guard for 149 souls.

Spokesperson Susan Harris-Huether said this afternoon that WSF plans to stick to its plan of getting out of the foot ferry business.

Here are a few of the total daily numbers for the run:

Dec. 14, 2007: 94
Dec. 15: 383
16: 686
17: 374
18: 397
19: 327
20: 566
21: 818
22: 659
23: 666
24: 601
25: 296
26: 703
27: 763
