Ressam: Mukasey Will Argue High Court Case

mike.jpg The AG

U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey will himself present the government's oral arguments at the March 25 Supreme Court hearing on Ahmed Ressam's sentence, the AP reports:

Mukasey will be the first attorney general since Janet Reno in 1996 to represent the government at the high court. Neither John Ashcroft nor Alberto Gonzales, President Bush's first two attorneys general, argued a case at the court.

Was it something we said? (Also click on the box for briefs detailing the arguments of Mukasey and Ressam).
