Bill Gates Hates Books

Stupid books. How can we make any money off them? They're not even Vista-compatible. They don't require software updates or Microsoft service packs. Worse, they give books away for free at the library! What kind of business model is that?

Indeed, the New York Times reports that M'soft is abandoning its efforts to scan books and various scholarly articles to upload to the Web. Meanwhile, Google continues to push ahead with similar efforts. But seriously, what do those dummies at Google know? Take it from Bill Gates--books, there's no future to them.
