Barack Obama Drinking Game

Rep. Bob D. Builder (D-Albuquerque): Expected to give the "Yes We Can" introduction speech for the Democratic presidential nominee.
Sen. Barack Obama is finally able to get a chance to speak at his own party. After the Clintons have left toting off all the liquor, the three best looking chicks and a half-empty keg.
The line being given is that this is a make-or-break performance for the Illinois senator as he tries to get some kind of bounce in the polls before the GOP Convention begins in earnest.
McCain is already upstaging the Democrats by playing the same mind-games they pulled in hemming over who to pick as his VP.
As you are watching tonight, there is a way to make the evening go by faster. What better way to endure the punditry of Bill O’Reilly, Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews and Wolf Blitzer then by getting totally blitzed yourself?
Give the Barack Obama Drinking Game a try.
Here are the rules.
Get all the booze you have in your house. Get some friends. Get all the booze in their respected homes. If you can invite beer heiress Cindy McCain, so much the better.
Every time Barack delivers one of his standard catch-phrases, take a shot.
Hope.
Change.
Yes We Can!!!

If you want to truly get blasted, try expanding the game so that every time McCain is tied to the Bush administration folks have to do doubles.
Designated drivers are allowed to play but they can only drink after Obama names one of his specific legislative achievements.
The game has its variations and they can be combined into one event. Substituting alcohol consumption for stripping off clothing is particularly popular with the younger set and those who attend Mars Hill Church. Watch out for the guys who play to lose.
Conservatives who are still upset that their party nominated a RINO like McCain can try the Russian roulette variant. Doing a Christopher Walken accent is not required but does lighten the mood.
After that you should be able to enjoy the good two or three minutes of solid substance that has become the hallmark of all political speeches this Presidential Election season.

Surely McCain will eschew the slogan/applause lines in favor of a nuanced look at his voting record.

In the meantime, let us focus on fuzzy platitudes at the Democrat Convention before jumping ahead to fuzzy platitudes delivered by the GOP when they get the national stage.

Oh my lord... with the way the Dems are trying to make this a campaign against Bush III, I think you would kill your liver in under half an hour. No matter who the Republicans would have chosen, the Democrats are determined to campaign against Bush.

I'd say take a shot every time he says "I will" or "I'm gonna". I'm guessing the ER might have been a bit busy...
