• That's a good point. I think they included older straight domestic couples but left off the younger ones for political reasons (attack-on-marriage paranoia, etc.). Personally, I think the people who argue that the state should grant only civil unions and leave the marriage business to private entities have a great point. Though "commit to a civil union with me" doesn't quite have the same ring as "marry me."
