Slow and Steady Wins the Race, Bear

Our beloved bad news bear--dubbed Urban Phantom by his one-time pursuers, though we shall continue to call him simply "bear"--is headed in the right direction. (Previous bear news here, here, and here.) 
Harmless enough that he is no longer being chased by the authorities, he is still being sighted--most recently at Shoreline's Hamlin Park. (See his path on the My Ballard tracking map.) He's on is own for the first time and is probably totally lost, but if he continues to head north and east, he'll end up in the Cascades, where he can make a life of it. Onward and upward, bear. Good things await. This one goes out to you:
