Boeing and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Week

If our region's biggest employer wants to move anywhere after this week, it's probably Australia:

-The long-awaited Dreamliner remains long-awaited, long after we weren't supposed to be awaiting it any longer. As a result, a disappointed airline canceled a $3 billion order. But that's not all.

-Boeing also lost some of daddy's warbucks, as the Pentagon stuck to its guns in shooting down several defense projects.

-Boeing-funded start-up Sea Launch went belly-up, leaving the Lazy B on the hook for half-a-billion. That's more than anything the Governor's Boeing panel could make up for.

-And finally, for good measure, Boeing stock got downgraded.

Also, today the company woke up to find gum in its hair.
