Cameron Dollar, Future "Coaching Superstar," Gets Some National Ink

camerondollarheadshot.jpg
Last week, Seattle-based ESPN writer Jim Caple interviewed Storm star Sue Bird and praised M's ace Felix Hernandez. This week, he visits with new Seattle U. men's basketball coach Cameron Dollar. UCLA Bruin fans remember Dollar as the point guard in the team's 1995 championship game in Seattle. Husky fans remember him as Lorenzo Romar's right-hand man, so involved that Romar tells Caple, "If you were to come to a practice or a meeting, you might think he was the head coach." And, now, according to Romar, Seattle U. Redhawks fans will remember him as the dude that took them to the big time. The team returned to Division I ball only last year. But, says Romar, "if Cameron does what I think he will do — he'll be a coaching giant, a coaching superstar."
