Could Nate Robinson Be the Next Sacramento Husky?

naterobinsonsmall.jpg
Back in April, SW ran a profile of former Husky Nate Robinson. An excellent piece by Rafe Bartholomew's, it was entitled "Nate Robinson, Little King." A prescient title that may prove.

Former Husky hoop stars Jon Brockman and Spencer Hawes have reunited as members of the NBA's Sacramento Kings, and with free agency kicking in, there's a good chance Robinson might join them. So says ESPN's Chad Ford:

The Knicks probably can't afford to keep [Robinson] as they try to re-sign David Lee and clear cap space for LeBron James (and/or others). Look for Sacramento, among other teams, to make a run at him, especially after the Kings made a big play for him at the trade deadline.

Real GM says the same, and adds the Lakers into the mix. Robinson on the Lakers would be a ton of fun--can you imagine how hyped he'd be for a Finals game? But the Kings speculation seems more solid (Ford doesn't even list the Lakers as suitors), and seeing him team up with Brockman and Hawes would still be a kick for Dawg fans, and might add a few King-followers to this NBA-less corner.
