Next Fourth of July Seattle may be without a fireworks show, because JPMorgan Chase & Co., which acquired Washington Mutual, has not committed to sponsoring most of the $500,000 event. WaMu started sponsoring the event put on by One Reel in 2002.

At least their ad campaign makes it clear they're fans of upholding tradition.
