Prince of Pot Calls for 419...No, Wait, 420 Protests

prince-of-pot.jpg
Since they traditionally are the law, it's not often that royalty face the long, harsh arm thereof--and even less often over something as silly as distributing marijuana seeds. But such is the fate of Marc Emery, the man who became known as "The Prince of Pot" for acting as the Johnny Appleseed of the sticky and donating lots of money.

Emery faces a likely five-year sentence to federal prison from a plea he struck in January. Still, he's calling for protests of his imminent detention. One week before his October sentencing, he wants to see 420 protests in 42 (perhaps that should be 42.0) countries. Methinks he'll have no problem scoring one here. (h/t Seattle 911)
