More (Semi) Naked Cyclists in Fremont

bike_illo_resize.jpg
Late notice arrived for the Gardens Everywhere Bike Parade, which begins Saturday at 1 p.m. at Om Culture (3514 Bagley Ave. N.) north of Gas Works Park. (Those wanting to adorn their bodies and bikes should arrive at 11 a.m.) What will follow is described as "clothing-optional revelry through some of the funnest locations in North Seattle." The goal is to "learn neighborhood gardening tips and locations" and promote permaculture in general. See the World Naked Bike Ride event site for more details. The route will likely be a meander through the P-patches of the city, with stops to do a little digging and tilling. One advantage to riding naked, of course, is that it's easier later to wash off the grass and dirt stains afterward.
