Cy Vance Jr. Wins Manhattan DA Primary
Former Seattle attorney Cyrus Vance - a Seattle University law instructor whose high-profile clients included Mary Kay Letourneau's victim/husband Vili Fualaau amd former University of Washington football coach Rick Neuheisel - appears to be New York City's next Manhattan district attorney, replacing the legendary Robert Morgentau. Vance won yesterday's Democratic primary, all but ensuring that he will become the fourth person to run that office since 1941, reports the New York Times. "This victory is not mine, this victory is yours," Vance said after being introduced by an emotional Morgenthau, 90, who has been district attorney since 1975 and helped lead Vance's campaign. The son of President Jimmy Carter's Secretary of State, Vance moved back to his native NYC in 2004 after 16 years of practice here, but remains a member of the Washington State bar.

Congratulations Cyrus Vance ! I know that you will make a difference in our New York State. I know that you will help stop the corruption in our legal system. There are too many Judges and attorneys abusing their position and power to hurt innocent people...May God Bless you and your family and help restore our Justice system so that we may start believing that some justice still exist.
