OMG, That Windows 7 Launch Party Is Going to Be HOT!

This operating system is so fun! (Warning: Black people subject to digital whitening for Polish promotions.)

The 'Soft has already shown us that it knows how to cut loose--see, e.g., Microspotting. Now it wants us to do the same! In case you didn't know, Windows 7 is coming out soon, which is pretty much as good as the Oscars or the Super Bowl in terms of an excuse to throw a totally sweet party. Hence, Microsoft wants you to throw a totally sweet party!

The plan is to have select company employees and very select outsiders host their nearest, dearest, and hottest for a celebration of the new product. (Just to clarify, they won't be selling it--just celebrating it.) What would these parties look like? The above picture--from the parties' promotion page--should give you some idea. But really, it's up to you. You see, you can choose from four different themes!: PhotoPalooza, Media Mania, Setting up with Ease, and Family Friendly Fun. (Not listed on the site but rumored to be available for true VIPs is jager shots with Ballmer.)

But you better move fast: Microsoft won't make you fight for your right to party, but it will make you apply early. "Spaces are very limited"!
