How Green Is YOUR Sex Life?

green.vagina.jpg
Lovers, rejoice. Local resident April Cook has just launched Seattle Green Toys, a store that specializes in selling non-toxic sex toys. It features all-natural products like wooden dildos, vegan condoms, and organic lube... kind of like Trader Joe's or Mud Bay, but more exciting.

So why should you drop $21 on a 1 oz. bottle of herbal anal relaxing spray? Because unlike many anal sprays out there, this one, with clove, goji berry, and lemongrass, won't numb your sphincter, according to the product description. (I'd argue that numbness is preferable in this situation, at least for hetero females... but I digress.)

Seattle Green Toys is intended to provide people with safe sex-related products, according to Cook. Last year, Congress approved a nationwide ban on the use of phthalates in Plastics in all children's products, including pacifiers and teethers, because it releases chemicals linked to cancer and birth defects. The adult industry however, isn't regulated by the FDA or EPA, meaning that your vibrators, dildos, and anal plugs could be harmful to your health.

Do you read the nutrition facts before you stick something in your mouth? (Okay, at least sometimes?) Well, perhaps it's time that you grant your other orifices the same courtesy.
