Patricia Lynn Crowl has a violent history with her boyfriend's ex's.
Avoiding the more predatory creatures in your loved one's wake is a necessary survival tactic in the dangerous waters of co-habitating. And Patricia Lynn Crowl may just be the biggest shark of them all.

As Jennifer Sullivan at the Seattle Times reports, on November 13th the 50-year-old Crowl lured her new boyfriend's ex-girlfriend to a Kirkland parking garage by texting her with his phone. When the woman got out of her car Crowl lunged at her with a knife, stabbing her 18 times and leaving her lying on the concrete bloodied with a punctured lung.

Last week Seattle police arrested Crowl and charged her with attempted first-degree murder. Thus marking the second time in a dozen years Crowl, released from prison in November 2006, has found herself a jilted lover in trouble with the law...

On May 14th, 1997, Crowl murdered Shawn Beatrice Wallace because Wallace was dating her boyfriend. Crowl bludgeoned Wallace with a wrench, choked her, then hid her body under a house. Wallace was six weeks pregnant at the time.

Crowl's latest victim, an as-yet-unidentified 28-year-old woman, is recovering from her injuries at Harborview. Amazing considering that police dispatchers who answered her frantic 911 call said she reached them with her last, dying breaths.

Police caught up with Crowl hours after the stabbing at a Renton hospital where she was being treated for cuts to her hands. She's now being held on $3 million bail.
