Onetime Seattle Seahawk linebacker Tony Fein died last October after friends awoke to find him collapsed face down in their Kitsap County home.

Initial reports had Port Orchard native's death classified as accidental. The Kitsap County coroner's office has confirmed the original analysis, calling Fein's death an accidental drug overdose.

Toxicology tests showed a mixture of morphine and Alprazolam, a drug used to treat anxiety, in Fein's system, reports the News Tribune.

Fein, 27, prepped at South Kitsap High. He eventually made it to the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent, with a stop in between with the U.S. Army. He served 3 years, including a tour in the Iraq War before moving on to play college ball at the University of Mississippi.

After a short stint with the Seahawks following the April draft, he caught on with the Baltimore Ravens, but was cut during the final preseason roster purge.
