Reader: Wishes Cancer Upon Anti-Medical Marijuana Activists

• I loathe to wish the pain & torment of disease on others, especially those whose only crime is ignorance & a complete lack of human empathy... they don't know any better, they've been spoon fed the rhetoric that pot is an evil drug, "it's illegal because it's bad, duh!" Those in law enforcement who enjoy the ease of maintaining this prohibition for job security disgust me the most, because they blindly follow a policy which puts them & their fellow officers in more danger than necessary over a trivial and ancient practice of the human condition. We're not talking about a toxic poison here. Hemp seed in particular is one of the most nutritious foods we can consume. I have the utmost respect for police officers who put their lives on the line to protect their communities & it pains me to think that many have been (& will be) injured or killed enforcing these misguided policies. Their lives are worth more to me than restricting people from something the human race has been growing & using medicinally/recreationally/spiritually for thousands of years.
