• many and most of you democratics exhibit extremely immature behavior. you may then ask, "what is mature behavior?" obviously the answer is different for each of us, but explorig the question can help you identify ones goals and apply this clear message as one seeks to change ones behavior. TO ME, MATURITY INCLUDES: -knowing myself. -asking for help when i need it and acting on my own when i don't. -admitting when i'm wrong and making amends. -accepting love from others, even if i'm having a tough time loving myself. -recognizing that i always have choices, and taking responsibility for the ones i make. -seeing that life is a blessing. -having an opinion without insisting that others share it. -forgiving myself and others. -recognizing my shortcomings and my strengths. -having the courage to live one day at a time. -acknowledging that my needs are my responsibilty. -caring for people without having to take care of them. -accepting that i'll never be finished-i'll always be a work-in-progress. the arrival of faith in my life had been a gradual process. this process continues and grows stronger each day i keep myself open to it. perhaps scknowledging this process will help me when i am impatient with the twists and turns of life. "i find the great thing in this world is not so much whre we stand as in what directon we are moving." perhaps, "a higher power greater than ourselves" is what many democrats, far-left thinkers, communists and those individuls, groups, unions, and affiliations, are lacking in there lives. i know it has changed my life, in every aspect, for the best. sincerely, beth
