• Josh was rejected by his family since his parents divorce get your facts correct. Like most divorces the child ends up the victim. Than feeding the child all types of medications to find one that works isn't mental health. The mental health community in Oak Harbor is more worried about filling in a appointment and prescribing unneeded meds. Oak Harbor is torn because of Meth as well especially since the military are the biggest customers.

• Sarah those of us who know Josh will stick by your side. He was a great young man who had a uncontrollable drug addiction (started by mental health meds) since his youth. As a past friend I believe his insanity defense. Only because I've known him since middle school. Josh has a very very great family. My heart goes out to them. Sarah take care an. • Sarah, defending Josh isn't really going to get you anywhere. He was "rejected" by his family because of HIS actions. They've tried helping him for years, even recently. And this is what he chooses to do? And nanamamaWA, for the record, the "cousin" who blames the medicine and mental illness never met Josh and was aiming for 15 minutes of fame. The family ABSOLUTELY holds him accountable. Remember, the media only shows you a skewed fraction of the real deal.

• ya and Ive know Josh for 15 years Im the mother of his son there are things that you dont even know nor his daughters mom. what he did was wrong and the courts will make sure of that. Please dont talk like that about him he has a teenage son.

• Well Im the mothe of his 14 yr old son, This wasent Josh Ive known him for a very long time being rejected from his famliy and child then using METH. what he did was wrong and he will be put away for the rest of his life. Prison is where he feels at home. there is sooo much more to Josh the any of you will ever know!!

• I totally agree. Josh actually worked for me here in Ak on a fishing boat and I know his ex and daughter Kaylynn. He was disturbed from the word go. he did a year in jail and when he got out, you think he went to see his daughter?, he went to beat up his ex girlfriends new boyfriend in tony's bar here in Kodiak.

• This is a really awful story.  Interesting, the cousin blames the medicine and ADHD, or bipolar.   So another family that didn't hold a family member accountable to society for his behavior.  He did it, but. . .
