Comment of the Day: Aaron Reardon Accuser's Concern for Misued Tax Money is 'B.S.'
It's Friday! And like the four days before this, that means it's time for Comment of the Day. Today's winner calls bullshit on the supposed concern for the public's money expressed by Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon's accuser.
When Snohomish County employee Tamara Dutton explained that she has been having a long-term affair with Reardon, she told The Seattle Times that she has "an issue with public funds being misused." What Dutton doesn't point out is that for years she was apparently fine with taking taxpayer-funded vacations with Reardon.
This doesn't sit right with Jarrod Hubbard. He writes:
From the Times.."She said she also was fed up with the waste of county money, especially
as Reardon was publicly portraying himself as a careful steward of
public dollars."I have an issue with public funds being misused," she said in an
interview in which she declined to provide detailed accounts of the
trips."My BS meter is pinging off the charts. She says for years she took
these free trips so she could ... i dont wanna get reported so ... "be
with" Reardon. But now that things have gone sour she has an issue with
public funds being misused? When SHE was the misuser?
