Feud Erupts Over 'I'm Not Gay, I'm Just a Sissy' Wall Calendar
A gay news blogger has gone to war with self-proclaimed Christian cartoonist, Joe King, over his new 2012 wall calendar that reads: "I'm Not Gay, I'm Just a Sissy." The calendar, which has been yanked at Barnes & Noble but is still available at Amazon.com, features a big drawing of King all dolled up like a sissy and promises "12 months of Sexual Confusion. (Not that there's anything wrong with that!)." 
Needless to say, the calendar has the gay community in a bit of tizzy after Andy Towle brought it the attention of his readers on his popular blog Towleroad.
One of the monthly cartoons has as its caption: "WE ALL HAVE AIDS!" Another cartoon is a parody of Paul Revere, showing him on horseback shouting, "The sodomites are coming! The sodomites are coming!"
King appears to be unfazed by all the fury and cries that his homophobic humor isn't terribly amusing.
As he writes on his Facebook wall, "Hoo-we! Hell hath no fury like a he/she scorned...The telephone tree is lit up like a Las Vegas marquee for 'Boy-Lesque' today with hate mail, threats of boycott and even the risk of Jesus spitting on my 'Sissy' calendar. I SAID I WAS A SISSY UP FRONT."
