Seattle Burglar Learns that One Shouldn't Target the House that's Full of Vicious Pit Bulls

Criminals: This is not your target market
Granted, my experience in the criminal business is rather limited. But from what I've heard, one of the first lessons new crooks are taught in school is that when picking a house to burglarize, they should avoid the ones SWARMING WITH PITBULLS.

From the SPD Blotter:

A 21-year-old male suspect had jumped a ten foot high fence and entered a privately owned back yard, possibly to prowl two vehicles that were parked there. Once the suspect was in the yard, he was immediately set upon by four pitbull dogs. The suspect sustained injuries to his arms, ears, face and legs. The homeowner heard the commotion and called the dogs off and placed them into a kennel. The suspect was unable to walk due to his injuries, so the homeowner placed the suspect on a handtruck and moved him to the street.

From a Darwinian perspective, of course, this outcome is most certainly positive. Weeding out stupid and ineffective criminals is crucial to making sure America's stock of bandits can compete in a global market.
