​Now that Mitt Romney has put the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints back on the map, let's find out where one is most likely to encounter a real live Mormon. In Washington, Adams County boasts the highest percentage of Mormons (12.73) among any of the 39 counties. Garfield, Lincoln, and Wahkiakum counties have 0 percent. In King County, it's 2.33 percent, while Salt Lake City is 56 percent. Jump here to see the map.

Jeff Bethke insists he doesn't want to be famous but his 15 minutes in the limelight appear to have been extended. His "Hate Religion, Love Jesus" video is still viraling upwards since we wrote about the Mars Hill Church member five days ago. But the Seattle artist's biggest boost came from a Thursday piece in The New York Times by conservative columnist David Brooks - even though Brooks took a negative view of Bethke's video claims:

​Not a lot of people in Seattle, apparently, have heard of 22-year-old Jefferson (Jeff) Bethke. But since the local artist posted his YouTube video just three weeks ago, he's become an online sensation with his own line of T-shirts. As of today, a worldwide audience has clicked in 18 million times to watch and argue over the Mars Hill Church member's "spoken word" poem on "Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus," below.

Alaska Airlines Eliminates Prayer Cards, but Pretzels Still Available

​Alaska Airlines won't be comin' in on a wing and a prayer any longer. Beginning Feb. 1, passengers will have to settle for just the wing. Call it separation of church and airline. For 30 years, customers could count on getting a little prayer card on their meals trays. For some, especially the Nervous Nellies, it was a comfort. Nothing like a prayer card ("I will praise God's name in song...") when the turbulence strikes.
