• Rachel -- might be good to catch Bjork twice ... from all accounts she\'s fairly hit-or-miss live ... the couple times I\'ve seen her (admittedly many years ago) she\'s been fantastic, but I\'ve also heard other gigs (including one here in Seattle a couple years ago) were flat-out atrocious.

• If I hadn\'t been needing a California vacation anyway I\'d be pissed that I arranged to see Bjork at Coachella, thinking it\'d be my only chance! However, now I shall see her TWO TIMES! Saturday\'s line-up makes me violently happy: Saturday, May 26th: Bjork, The Arcade Fire, Manu Chao Radio Bemba Sound System, M.I.A., Citizen Cope, Neko Case, The Hold Steady, Grizzly Bear, Ghostland Observatory, Electrelane, Two Gallants, The Slip, Loney, Dear, Aqueduct, The Thermals, Viva Voce, The Blow, Gabriel Teodros

• RHCP are playing Saturday. Try Sonic Youth, Artic Monkeys, Jarvis Cocker, Jesus and Mary, Peaches and Brazilian Girls.

• Yeah, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are quite the inspired Coachella headliner ... But hey, to each their own.

• Screw Coachella? Screw Sasquatch! This lineup is uninspired. $55 for no headliners and some 90s retreads, woohoo. The first day of Coachella blows the entire Sasquatch! lineup away. Feh, the Virgin festival Vancouver actually looks decent compared to this. I really hope they get a clue before they book the rest of the lineup.

• Or, as I prefer to call them...the Tragically Overhyped.

• I\'d much rather stand in some hail for the Beasties, Arcade Fire, and Spoon than the Tragically Hip like last year. I\'m there.

• I\'m right there with you BJB. When I saw the list, Bad Brains, Bjork, Beasties and MIA definitely stood out.

• I actually am kinda excited about this one. I was pretty bitchy toward last year\'s, but I just don\'t have that much fun, as a man with a shaved head, getting hit by massive ice balls. But Bjork, MIA, Beasties, Bad Brains...yeah, that\'s some shit I can get amped about.

• Thank God the Arcade Fire are coming to Washington, this more than atones for their lack of a Seattle stop on their upcoming tour. I\'d pay 55 bucks for just them and Spoon alone. Ghostland Observatory should be pretty badass as well.
