Jim & Tim, Together at Last

Categories: Happenings
My brother Tim's bassist, Matt "The Finger" Millet, is attending the wedding of Patrick "c.j. sOb" Wellnitz in Poland, so he had to scramble to find a replacement for his show tonight at the Tractor Tavern. Luckily, my Uncle Jim Donahue was available, and will thus add a tasty dash of twang to tonight's performance. Fifty-year-old Uncle Jim has been a fixture on bass with bands like Shadrack and Joe Slick at the Little Red Hen, and his backstage beer-drinking exploits are said to rival Bob Seger's. He welds for a living, raises horses in Lake Stevens, and owns a teal Corvette. In other words, he's the real fuggin' deal. Adding him to my bro's lineup is like adding Vince Gill to Dire Straits, or Hendrix to the Stones. Jim & Tim: One night only. Ballard Ave. might spontaneously combust.
