Arrested!

This just in, via Pitchfork: freaky sister act Coco Rosie have cancelled the remainder of their American shows due to the fact that they just got arrested. Reads their Myspace bulletin:

"dear loves
we are so sorry to announce that we cannot play the rest of the us tour dates
the band got arrested, thats all i can say
we love you all
we are playing a free show in New York on may 19th
please come if you can
we are crying
say a prayer for our band
love
Sierra and Bianca
later..."

Arrested, hm? Don't get me started on the jokes about what their offenses could be. I'm thinking this could be a stealth way to bow out of an unsatisfying tour. Anyone check the turnout for them at Neumo's this past Friday? From recent reviews and what I've suffered through with my own ears, I think saying a prayer for this band concerns their troubles in the studio as well as the slammer!
