Don't worry, Betty Davis didn't get busted for anything illegal. She just got written up in the new issue of BUST magazine. Our own Hannah Levin interviewed the reclusive soul-funk diva about a week before I did, and turned out a piece filled with a lot of great historical background. One important topic Hannah explored but I didn't was Ms. Davis' fashion background, such as her education at New York City's Fashion Institutue of Technology, and her brief career as a model. The new issue of BUST should be on newsstands right about now. Look for it...it's the one with Chloe Sevigny on the cover and Betty's album title They Say I'm Different printed on the spine.
