Neko Case's Lingerie Up For Auction
Local photographer Victoria Renard has taken some extraordinarily seductive photographs of her friend Neko Case over the years, including some infamous topless shots for Kutie magazine (sorry, no links for that one, you dirty dog) and the image above from a promotional calendar for Sympathy For the Record Industry. Wisely, Vic hung on to the corset hugging Case in this photo (which she kept after the shoot and eventually returned after wearing it for a couple of years). It's now up for auction on Ebay and the proceeds will go to a cause very close to Case's heart, Greyt Expectations Greyhound Rescue. That's some quality rock memorabilia if you ask me.
UPDATE: Apparently, I'm not the only one that thinks so...Pitchfork has now picked up on the story and Victoria tells me she's had more than 1,300 hits in less than three hours. Damn.
