At the last Cave Singers show I was privy to, the whole floor shook with a lively acoustic set complete with washboard rappin', foot stompin' and Pete Quirk's yelps so loud- there was no need for amplification. They'll take their live show on the road this fall. For most of the dates they'll be joining Black Mountain, the original Vancouver based stoner's delight that's sprouted many a side project, including Lighting Dust who the Singers just spent a few weeks with on a west coast jaunt.
They'll be touring in support of their forthcoming September 25th Matador release Invitation Songs, which, if their self-released ep and live shows are any indication, should be well worth snatching up.
Catch them next at Bumbershoot September 1st. Full dates after the jump.
