Free Free Jazz Tonight

ENC.jpg

Yeah, that's right...it's free free jazz, as in a free-jazz show that costs nothing. If you're like me, and you prefer your jazz to be seasoned by a pinch of Albert Ayler, a dollop of Archie Schepp, and several heaping tablespoons of Alice Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders, and Sun Ra, then you should head down to the Christoff Gallery in Georgetown tonight. Local trio Emporer Norton's Cabal (or, ENC, if you prefer) will be doing their "ritualistic voodoo pentacostal thing" beginning right around 8 p.m. Did I mention that it's free? Oh, and the Christoff Gallery is a really cool spot, as well.
