As of this morning at 11 a.m., Fleet Foxes (proud disclosure: the band fronted my brother, Robin Pecknold) are now signed to Seattle's Sub Pop Records.

Says A & R lady Sue Busch, "I feel very proud to welcome Fleet Foxes to the Sub Pop family. It¹s been so amazing watching them grow as a band and I know they have a lot of exciting times ahead of them. I¹m so glad we get to be a part of it."

It's been an exciting and busy week for the band, who wrapped up the recording of their EP Sun Giant yesterday, (which will be available on their upcoming 43 date (yikes) tour with Blitzen Trapper) and saw There Will Be Blood three times.

Congratulations to both.
