Man Plus' New Addition

Seattle band Man Plus have just made their latest full-lenth, The Hungarian Suicide Songbook available via theirSpace, and if the tracks on the page are any indication, this is one heavy-hitting piece of work. Dynamic song structures drag the listener over a Candyland- in-a-thunderstorm kind of terrain, with heavy walls of guitar, rushing rivers of synth, driving back beats and multi-pronged hooks that make for a forceful and ambitious effort. The artwork (above) isn't too shabby either.
Their CD release show is Valentine's Day at the Comet.

Wow, where the hell did this band come from?! The songs on the Myspace are awesome. Some weird lo-fi pop mix that is really hard and fast. I hear they are insane live; can\'t wait.
