The Belated #4

Even though it's the third, I still haven't finished my top seven of '07 year end list. But my kid is giving me a break from his endless as of late teething fusses, not to mention it's 60 degrees here in usually sunny Florida (I saw a lady walking her dog in a scarf and mittens and laughed my ass off) and it seems to be as good a day as any to work a little. So as they say, better late than pregnant. My weekend homework is to finish this freakin' list.

Sometime in the summer of 2006....

Are you there God? It's me Ma'Chell, I really need you to find me an new awesome rock band. One that's smart, edgy and makes my naughty bits all tingly. Give then hard hooks catchy enough that my even my rock and roll civilian of a husband will find them musically irresistible. Oh, and If you could give them a social conscious, make them even better live than they are on record and the nicest boys you've ever want to meet that would be great as well.

Two days later I stumble across the Whore Moans on MySpace. About a year ago to the day, today Watch Out For This Thing is released. Who says prayers go unanswered?
