PUSA + Weird Al = 'MIXED UP S.O.B.'

The Parody

Weird Al will direct the video for The Presidents of the United States of America's single, "Mixed Up S.O.B.," from their forthcoming record, "These Are the Good Times, People," which hits stores on March 11. No word on whether Al will star in the video as PUSA frontman Chris Ballew, the way he did for his "Gump," video.

2008 is certainly looking to be big year for PUSA. In addition to the new record and Weird Al fondling, they launch a word tour in Portland on March 14, the day after their SXSW showcase in Austin, TX. The tour hits The Paramount on March 15. $20 tix are still available via Ticketmaster. Maybe it's just that I haven't bought a ticket through Ticketmaster in a looooong time, but I'm blown away by the $9.o5 convenience charge for the tix, and a $3 "building facility charge." I know this is a tired arguement, but damn. $32.05 for a $20 ticket?
