Menomena Plays the Moore Theater. Whoa.
Posted Aug. 8 at 12:01 pm by Sara BricknerOkay, so I bring this up because, aside from the obligatory I-love-Menomena gushfest that I'm going to omit here, Menomena once played a magazine release show for the student arts 'n culture mag I worked for at University of Oregon (OREGON VOICE 4 LIFE!) and uh....now they're going on tour and playing here, not at Neumo's, not at the Showbox, but at the Moore. The frickin' MOORE. How far they've come! I mean, these guys are great, but I gotta tell ya, I wasn't expecting them to appeal to such a broad audience. Maybe I should have a little more faith in the listening public.
Anyway, all that's happening on September 19th, so save the date. In the meantime, watch this video. God, I love this track. I've got a stranglehold on this decisioooooon....
