Runaways Biopic Gets the Green Light

• Just finished watching the movie. Is Lita Ford as big a bithc in real life as she was depicted in the movie? I hope not because seh was depicted as being a cold-hearted, self-centered bitch in the movie. It's hard to believe seeing photos of Cherie from those days that she still wasn't even 17 yet. I think the Runaways break up was the best thing that could have happened to Joan Jett. She is a much better singer than Cherie was anyway. I was amazed at how much the actress they chose to play Sandy west looked like the real Sandy west in the movie.

• Went to HS with Sandy, 1974-1977 (West not her real last name). We became friends, hung out w/ Joan & Lita- didn't really know Cherie. As Sandy's career took off; life happened and we sort of drifted apart... Sandy was a real sweetheart, I'm sad to learned she passed away at such a young age. Can't wait to see the 2010 movie with Dakota & Kristin!

• The movie's comin out soon. They cast Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett and Dakota Faning as Cherie Currie. You'd think they'd use less known actors.
