Would You Pay $103 For Front Row Tickets To See...Fall Out Boy?

• I payed $250 to see Fall Out Boy.

• Yes, I'd pay $10,000 to see Joe Strummer and the Clash play. No question.

• I saw AC/DC in Salt Lake City during the 2001 Stiff Upper Lip tour. They hadn't played there in 10 years. Every ticket, be it front row, floor or nosebleed seat was the same price: $50.25. The way to get a better seat was not to pay more but to show up at the ticket booth earlier than anyone else. That's dedication. You can always (usually) get more money but you can never get more time. And ... Fall Out Boy sucks.

• $100 is not extortion for front row seats!! my god, AC/DC is charging nearly that much FOR EVERY SINGLE SEAT IN THE TACOMA DOME. in the industry it's called knowing your demographic - and FoB (er, their management) know their fans are getting money from the bank of Mom & Dad. likewise AC/DC, all their fans will shell out $90 for nosebleed seats. suckers.

• Now this is fun. Who would you pay $100 plus to see, other than those listed? (Because that is a pretty damn good list.) 1. Joy Division 2. Metallica (Cliff Burton era) 3. Lenny Bruce 4. Gram Parsons
