Best Pregnant Performance in History?

Even her fetus has swagger

Considering that M.I.A.'s due date was last night, it seemed impossible that the Sri Lankan pop singer would even attend the Grammy's yesterday let alone perform at them. But sure enough, the biggest surprise, and in my opinion, most captivating performance of the night was lead by a very pregnant M.I.A. performing the first stanza of her hit song, "Paper Planes" and then segueing into Kanye West's "Swagga Like Us."

The fact that T.I., Lil Wayne, Kanye, and Jay-Z were all on stage performing the track together seemed perfect. No other rappers in 2008 had more success than them, thus making the chorus, "No one on the corner has swagga like us" that more fitting. Still, I think M.I.A. bouncing around the stage without a care in the world of if her water would break or not, was the highlight. For those who didn't see it, check out their swagger-filled performance after the jump. And let's hope people's over usage of the word "swagger" ends now.
