• I saw fnm at the moore in 97 and it was amazing. This dude is an idiot mabey aerosmith or U2 is more his thing. They have lots of crappy hits. • This is quite simply the most ignorant musical article I've ever read. Even if I didn't like FNM, you have to be completely out of touch to say they weren't one of the most influential bands of the 90s, as far as musicians are concerned especially. Angle Dust and King for a Day... are continually mentioned in so many bands list of influences, it's unreal. I'd compare them to someone like Sunny Day Real Estate or...The Melvins. That is, never that commercially successful, but HUGELY influential. As far as the rap-metal-nu-whatever label--that's just stupid. Pinning Epic as the most representative song for Faith No More...is like saying Creep best represents Radiohead, or Been Caught Stealing best represents Jane's Addiction. In all the cases, the song served as a springboard for those bands to make the music that they were really capable of making, early in their careers...and songs that said bands basically wear as albatrosses for their careers. Wow. The musical ignorance in this article is seriously...scary.

• You ignorant fool? Don't you know that hits don't mean contribution to the music world? It doesn't necesseraly go together. MTV decides what's a hit and what's not. MTV hates Faith No More, and Faith No More hates them. That's the first thing someone should know about Faith No More. And Epic, as good as this song is, isn't really representative of the band, because they always do different things, they experiment and mix music and humor. They just do what they want to do. Patton is a hell of a singer, and I mean by that one of the best in the rock history, with his elastic and powerful voice. FNM is really inovative and I don't want hear by nobody that they're not. Before insulting a band like that, you should try to inform yourself, then you wouldnt seem retarded like you do. May be it's your opinion, but it doesn't look like it's based on something.

• Beyond the big hit- Faith No More ruled. Check out Angel Dust. One of the very best rock records of all time. That band was amazing. Just listen to anything they made after Epic. One of my biggest regrets was missing that band. Now, hopefully I will get the chance. PS- Did you know that Courtney Love was the singer of that band for time in the early days?
